The Book of Numbers 

Overview
- Author:    Moses
- What: Moses’ third book of the Bible, including the Census, setting apart of the Levites, and other events after the exodus from Egypt.
-When: 1440 BC
-Where: Mount Sinai/ Canaan
-Why: God continues to give Moses revelation and instruction, and is the last book of the last events leading up to the Israelites entering the land of Canaan.

Jesus OT ← → NT:
12:6-8 = Moses relationship with God… he sees the figure of God
14:26-28 = as surely as the LORD lives
16:47-48 = image of Jesus atoning for the sins of the living, and though atoned for the dead the dead did not accept His sacrifice
20:8-12 = in Exodus 17:6, Moses struck a single rock and out poured water. Here Moses disobeys God, as God commanded him to speak to the rock but he struck it. The same way Jesus was pierced once and once and for all, and water poured out
22:21-28 = angel of the LORD
22:32-35 = angel of the LORD
35:34 = the LORD dwells among the Israelites… and God is omnipresent why would God say this unless He was sleeping, eating (consuming the sacrifices through fire) among them
The Trinity Shown:
11:17 = God descending, which means He also has to ascend (Acts 1:9)
11:25 = God descending, which means He also has to ascend (Acts 1:9) the Spirit of God 
11:29 = again the LORD and His Spirit
12:6-8 = Moses relationship with God… he sees the figure of God
14:14-15 = the LORD goes before them in a cloud by day and fire by night, and has been seen face to face
14:20 = the LORD forgives sins
14:26-28 = as surely as the LORD lives
22:21-28 = angel of the LORD
22:32-35 = angel of the LORD
24:2 = Spirit of God
27:18 = the LORD and the Spirit
