About Us : What We Believe

-God: The Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are 3 persons who share the attributes of God (all-knowing, all-powerful, and everywhere), working together as a functioning unit.

- Jesus: Fully God, fully man, the only begotten Son who paid the penalty for our sins. He was crucified, died, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day to prove He was God. (John 8:58, Matthew 7:21, Mark 13:31)

-Holy Spirit: the Third member of the Trinity... He is not a force, He is a person and is God just as the Father and Son are God. (Isaiah 63)

-Man: Man is sinful and evil at our core, and we are in need of a savior. (Romans 3:12)

- Messiah: a title for the Jewish savior for not only the Jews but the whole world, for whom Jesus fit the description according to the Old Testament and He will come again. (prophecies of the Old Testament (OT), Isaiah 53)

-Christians: Adopted as sons and daughters into God's Kingdom, people who have accepted Jesus' sacrifice for their sins, and choose to turn away from the very things that Jesus died for. (Ephesians 1)

- Non-Christians: The difference between a Christian and a Non-Christian is that the Christian knows they are a bad, sinful person who needs Jesus as their Savior. Non-Christians still must pay their sin-debt to God which is by paying it through Hell. However, at any moment, a Non-Christian can accept Jesus' sacrifice for their sins and trust in Him to get to Heaven, and in doing so repent from their sins and be in good standing with God. (John 3:16-36)

- Heaven: An eternal destination where those who are saved by the Blood of Jesus will spend (Romans 10:13, Revelation 21)

- Hell: An eternal destination of God's wrath (Daniel 7:9-10, Matthew 10:28) where the Devil, fallen angles, and everyone who dies in sin without accepting Jesus' sacrifice goes to be punished forever (Matthew 25:41, Romans 6:23). The Devil does not control Hell because he too is tortured there (Revelation 20:10)
