- Author:    Unknown for some chapters, Nehemiah for others
- What: The LORD’S protection of His people, but also faithfulness to Him in worship and keeping the Law (for Jews)
-When: 433-423 BC
-Where: Persia/Babylon/Israel
-Why: Record of Nehemiah instituting building city walls for the protection of the people

1:5-6 = God has eyes and ears
9:12 = God was in the cloud and in the fire
9:13-19 = Jesus came down, performed miracles, and baptized people in the Holy Spirit
9:20 = Holy Spirit, in the NT, the Father grants the Spirit, and Jesus breathes on the disciples and says, “Receive the Holy Spirit”
